The park is not that great, but the locations is. It is hot and humid so we don't want to stay here too long! July 4th, we decided to drive up to Lake Tahoe, only 60 miles. There were thousands of people there! We took our top down on the VW and it was very hot in the slow traffic. People parked and walked at least 1 mi. carrying coolers, etc. to the park and beach. Some got traffic tickets for parking on the edge where is was posted "no parking". Took some pictures and headed back to Reno for the fireworks display. We just sat outside the RV and saw them at the Sparks Nugget.
